Bernie Coulson (born Bernard, 1965) is a Canadian-born actor best known for his roles as The Thinker on the American television series The X Files, as well as Michael Reardon on the Canadian-based television series Intelligence and Pipefitter, the drummer of a reuniting punk band, in the Canadian mockumentary Hard Core Logo. He also played the role of Rick Diesel in the cult classic Eddie and The Cruisers II, Eddie Lives.

Early life

Bernie Coulson was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he graduated from Magee High School in 1983. For a short time, he was the roommate of Brad Pitt while the two of them were trying to break into acting. Pitt's portrayal of Floyd in the film True Romance is partially based on Coulson.

Career

Coulson appeared in the TV series Macgyver in 1988. He played Sid in the 1979 TV series Huckleberry Finn and His Friends. He played Sal in the movie Loverboy starring Patrick Dempsy.
